I, along with many others, have been looking forward to the TRX for a long time. Same for the possible return of a V8 to the Raptor. In both cases, despite the "it will never happen crowd".

I've made it clear multiple times that the Raptor engine was never used in a Taurus, or any other passenger car. It shares the same architecture as the GT engine and they share the majority of part numbers. Yet you continue to try and spread confusion and misinformation, all while putting down the EcoBoost. It's pathetic and annoying. You've been caught lying, yet you always have an excuse. Everyone here is sick of it; we can't even keep the thread on topic because you constantly feel the need to post false information.

Reality check: Relatively speaking, they are rare, especially in the consumer market. Given that we are consumers, I think that is the most relevant market to consider. :shrug:

You "think". That's the problem with your posts, you confuse your opinion with the facts.

Reality check: I have never said that once. I have said the V6 is a passenger car motor. Fact check: yes, that is how it has been primarily used throughout its history.

Wrong again on both counts. You can't even recall your own posts.

It's highly unlikely that any of the parts it allegedly shares with the passenger car version are unmodified. Further, I doubt you could buy one of those hand built race motors for much less than $100k, if you could even buy one.

There is no passenger car version. There never was a passenger car version. That is your passive way of expressing how much hatred you have for the Gen2 Raptor/EcoBoost. It’s becoming blatantly obvious that you have a superiority complex; we can all see through your BS. It’s to the point that your posts are a joke; you are the Sasquatch.

Does engine torque under 2000 RPM matter at all when running through a torque converter automatic? Not asking rhetorically, I think the answer is no as you're only just past (stock) converter stall speed, but not certain.

LS (still my favorite engine, sorry everyone) is a tiny compact-designed passenger car motor. :D

Yeah I said that earlier. Hard to believe RAM will actually put a full power Hellcat motor in the truck. Could be a death trap. Since I moved to 37s I really don't even like to go 100 mph in my truck. WOT sure is fun from a dig, though.

I was also genuinely surprised by the bad reaction to the Mach E around the various forums/groups. I personally would love to have one for a city car. The GT version sounds fun.

Hybrid would be cool if they can sort out where to mount the batteries and the motor without losing too much bed space or fuel capacity.

Could only imagine how uncontrollable the HC would be on dirt without a lot of computer aids to manage torque and power.

My initial disappoinment with the Mach E is that they called it a 'Mustang'. If they had just left that name off the badge I think people would be a lot more interested by it. It's about time a volume manufacturer took a run at Tesla. If Ford/Rivian can pull it off I'm excited to see where that technology can take First Performance vehicles.

Between the torque converter stall speed and the combination of the 10R with 4.10 axle ratios, I can tell you anything south of 2k RPM is irrelevant. Don’t tell truckasaurus of course...

I agree! One of my all time favorite “passenger car” (Lol) engines as well. I had a ‘98 LS1 and my dad had an LS7 C6 and now a ZR1 C6, incredible engines.
