2018 Raptor. Had the truck since November 2017 and have 5k miles on it. Usually only drive it once or twice a week. Auto-stop has worked fine until a few months ago when I took the truck in to get the freezing door issue resolved. After that work was completed, I noticed it Auto-Stop not working... but since the weather was cold, I figured the weather could be the issue. About 3 weeks ago I took the truck in to get the shifting/transmission upgrade flashed to the computer. 100% positive the auto-stop was not working before the shift flash was done.

I've done a few things in Forscan and booted up my computer to check things out. Looked at the 3 (Auto-Stop) settings of which 2 are optional and my truck shows different readings then what is needed to stop Auto-Stop. In fact, I checked all of the modules and compared them to when I first started Forscan (As-built settings I backed up) and everything looks good.

Never had a tune.
Do have a Pedal Commander.

Thoughts? I'm taking the truck in for an oil change in April so if the issue hasn't been fixed by then, I'll have them look at it.

Oh, also disconnected the batter for 1 hour. No change. Also make sure A/C or Heat is turned off so not to drain the battery.

Sounds like the annoying auto stop self corrected.

Congrats! No need to now pull the trailer wire under the dash to permanently disable it.

Yeah, but I didn't mind the auto-stop in fact I liked it and want it back. I've pressed the auto-stop button and it illuminates and says disabled on the center screen and then pressed it again to turn it back on. Still doesn't work. Boo.

Man this is funny....you're like the only Man in North America who is complaining his "Auto Stop/Start" is now dis-abled!....Whats next?....The rear end now locks in 2wd?....Ha...Ha...

2nd. I like the stop / start when stuck in urban $hitholes with poorly timed lights.

OP: Have you checked the menu options for why it’s not engaging? you mentioned you only drive once in a while, it could be charging if you’re rarely driving. Or, it could be something in for scan. Kicker sub I believe disables it, maybe more.

When I was debugging the reason for mine not working after a tune (Cobb now fixed it) I uncovered there are a lot of reasons for it to not work. As Smurf says, check the dash menu option and it will tell you why its not triggering. My bet will be battery is charging. If it is for that reason, If you have a trickle charger (battery tender or similar) give it a go over night and it will likely start working again..

I’m doing the same driving I was doing when it was working. What dash menu options? I thought you couldn’t disable it. I’ll check that tomorrow.

Charge the battery on a trickle charge, maybe the truck see’s low voltage and won’t auto stop start. Make sure the plug on the negative battery is solidly connected.

I know that when the A/C is set to max, it won't shut off. There's gotta be other things it see's to keep it running.
