and the F150 is the best selling truck for 43 years sooooooo sort of makes sense there are more of them. thus more to steal.

Yeah never venture into Sa its a cesspool. hahaha
Well not really when you look at other states and other brands and cars.

Here are most stolen in Houston...same state..nothing to do with 'best selling' BS. Just reality of what is stolen by city.

If you look at CA stats--Honda is most stolen.

Thanks for the continued responses. I made some progress today and decided on a color. I’ll be going to Rapid Red. Now I just have to wait until the 8th of March for the insurance to officially classify it as a total loss. I have USAA and I hope they treat me fair with the payout.

Good Stuff Brother. USAA totaled out my car that I had on a front collision without any issues. I have always been impressed with USAA and believe you will get a fair shake. When you get it make sure you throw some pics on here so i have can be envious lol.

Thanks for the info. I’ll be honest I’m not familiar with the items you mentioned but I will look each one up. Are they on Bandera?

And there's also the Bandera location. Either one can help with what you need.

They may give you a lower than expected appraisal upfront. Do your research finding ads same year Denalis for sale with the same options to build a sample of comparable vehicles. They'll base the value of your total loss upon the average of those asking prices, adjusting for different options and mileage. When they send you the appraisal too - make sure the comps they used are actual comparable vehicles; for example they told me a '15 LS shortbed 4x2 was the same as my '15 ltz/z71 4x4 standardbed.

When you settle on a price with the insurance company, tell them to include tax/tags. You did after all pay for that when you had the truck, and will have to pay again for with your new truck.

Btw, I just got my 2019 one month ago, and I had the same feeling about the V6 sound, but now I love it, and definitely don’t miss the V8.

Good luck!
