I suspect it is going to be even later. I gave them a check for a deposit to be deposited on 8/15. They still haven't put it in yet, I went to the dealership to see what was up, they said it was going in Monday.

It could be a lot of hooey telling me it just happens to be going in the day after I aksed about it, but if they're going to make a 65k sale, they're not going to delay anything, so there may be a reason they haven't put it in yet.

Good point about FP, @_M_ I hadn't thought of that. From what my dealer told me, my order is one of their allocations. According to them, ordering the way I ordered would be the fastest means of getting a Raptor to me.

Who knows? So much still up in the air. Heck, we don't even know the power specs yet!

Very true. I'm at a total loss for how a vehicle so close to starting production still has not released hp/tq ratings. Is this normal? Why no ratings yet?

Who knows.

You were able to order 2017 super duties for 2 months before the engine specs were released.

I sent a message to FordService over on F150Forum.com I think they might be on this forum as well. You need your Order# Dealer# and your Last Name.

To piggy back on this, you can also message Ford Service on Facebook with your Order #, Dealer #, and Last Name for an update.

This was their response to my inquiry:

Congrats on your order! Your Raptor is in the system and is currently waiting for a build date to be scheduled. Feel free to check in with us, weekly, for updates.

So nothing new but it's reassuring to hear it from Ford directly without having to go through the dealer as a middleman.

So nothing found in cotus, but ford cust svc found my order, and said it's 'in processing, waiting to be scheduled' . They advised check back in a week or two for a possible update. I'm glad it's confirmed/in the system...although I didn't doubt my dealer, it's nice to hear. Now to focus on fishing, home improvements, anything other than letting the waiting get to me... :)
