GEN 2 Truck Order Discussion

This whole delivery situation is so ridiculous that I'm surprised they're not pulling my bead lock wheels and putting them on a truck they r interested in delivering.

So I get a message today from the dealership where I ordered my Raptor way back in July that a "stock" Raptor landed on the lot today surprising everyone at the dealership. Mine was ordered "retail". Turns out the "stock" order that landed on the lot today has the Beadlock wheels that I had to remove from my order so that it could be picked up for a build which is now set for week of Jan. 9. Granted this is probably an early build Raptor, perhaps even one that was sitting at Dearborn for weeks that had to undergo retrofit for whatever was going on. Nevertheless, I cannot help but to feel a little irked by this. Although I know it will be fruitless, I have asked the dealership if they can swap out the wheels and put those on mine when it arrives. Not likely to happen, but hey, thought I'd give it a try.

This is exactly what I was referring to earlier... stock orders rolling in with no buyer (having beadlocks and/or carbon fiber) while us that ordered our trucks (ready to pay customers) had to cancel these options just to get a build date. Nobody really knows IF they will offer these options again for sure...

Order number, etc. It was processed by Ford on 9/19/16
It has not been scheduled for build yet, and does not have a VIN# or ETA currently. It will, however, be made for sure as they have allocated it to us.

Lots of factors, but boh CF and Forged are on short supply as in not available for now.

I'm in the same boat. Mine was built 10/29 with release to shipper 11/29. Still sitting somewhere, BUT my buddy ordered one from THE SAME FREAKING DEALER and his was built 12/6 and ETA to dealer on 12/22!!! WTF??????? Wouldn't it make sense to deliver TWO trucks to the same dealer????

FORD REALLY SCREWED THE POOCH ON THESE DELIVERIES!!!!

Price is fine, sticker. The demand for the first trucks coming is is crazy, I may flip this one, guys are calling Koons and offering $5K+ over sticker for mine that just came in yesterday. We will see.
