I was always under the impression you want sheeting vs droplets. I believe I read that droplets lead to water spots where sheeting removes water from the entire panel
Sheeting doesn’t usually happen from normal rain, usually only if you use your hose without a sprayer and flood the surface. If I get a chance I’ll try that on the hood and check the sheeting. Beading is a way to check the surface tension between the product and the water, if there wasn’t any product on the panel, the beads would form uneven blobs or actually start to sheet except the sheets wouldn’t dissipate off the panel, they would just stay there or slowly slide off. I expect the sheeting will look great right now with the fresh coating on there from how the beads look.

I don’t remember the name of it we haven’t had any for a couple years now.
These are the newest ones we’re trying out plus the ceramic one I mentioned. Which is doing pretty good after 2 months.

Are the Auto Magic products a spray on/off product or require wiping? I could be wrong but I thought they both required wiping on/off?

Maguires ceramic spray wax was is another good spray on and spray off product. Worked well for me in the past.
I'm a big fan of Meguiar's wash and wax products both mix in water and waterless. I've used these two products exclusively on my Raptor for more than eight years with excellent results. I hand wash first using a five gallon bucket rinsing as you go, when done take sprayer off and let the water just run out of the hose to do a final rinse and while still wet use the waterless wash and wax like spray detailer and this is so easy if you normally dry the truck anyway. This is so easy compared to wax on wax off.

I’m using Geon wetcoat, sounds very similar to what you are using. It keeps a bead for about 2 months. I know it says squirt and hose off but I squirt and use a small microfiber and spread it around. It might not do anything but make me feel better

I like the Car-pro line up as well! I have done my car and truck with 2 coats of CQUARTZ UK 3.0 and topped with CQUARTZ SIC Pro! Very good combo I think and should last a good while!! then Ill go over it once a month with Car-pro EliXir quick detailer! Pretty much dries itself after a wash or rain lol
