My suggestions:

1. Make one more event in May before it gets too hot and then a fall event in Sept. or Oct.
2. More porta potties
3. Offer some type of instruction on how fast to take jumps, whoops, rocks etc. for the beginning driver. Maybe just do instruction on a small section of the course so the driver can go around the same section a few times over to get comfortable with such terrains.
4. Name tags with your name and screen name.

Other than that, it was PERFECT.

Btw- wiring harness burnt out my o2 sensor, but both are replaced, and truck is running great!! Also, tailgate will be fixed in the next couple days- wasn't as bad as we thought!! Yay!

I second most little tweaks other guys mentioned with one addition- tell PCI to make up vinyl stickers for the next run. It was a bugger to get off my window! LOL

ok, you were the guy who lost his tail gate, my buddies and I helped you remove it completely. Still don't know how that thing got beat up like that.

Couldn't agree more with everything posted...

Truly an amazing lot! From all the staff to the nuckleheads driving the Raptors... Can't wait for next time! My only regret is not sitting down to chat and meet more people! Maybe 30hrs of no sleep with a 14hr drive in the mix isn't the best thing to do when you plan on staying up late... Next time... Next time...

I would also like to thank PhyGuy for not only being an awesome neighbor but for also letting me give his freshly installed StageIII a whirl... I was extremely impressed with my limited but spirited time behind the wheel. Good bye bed/teeth rattling slam!

I will also say Matt's 2Stroke Margaritas were stellar but they had a lot to compete with that brisket...

Awesome time, Austin! Can't wait to do it again. And, yes, the Stage 3 kicks ARSE!!! :peace:

Trey, few things to consider for next time.
Take people's emergency contact info. God forbid someone had a serious accident and we needed to contact their wife or GF.
Would be good to do a vehicle inspections before the first run, I.e., does the truck have all the required gear? Fire extinguisher, tow rope?

For the parade lap, set some rules? Use a pace truck, and no passing. Max speed for the lap 35. Have a planned parade stop every 15 miles for driver change out and bathroom break and self vehicle inspection. Just some suggestions. Maybe you don't need this for U or A class.

The porta-johns were nice and clean, just had to know where they were.

Maybe next time Scott could haul in a bathroom / showers trailer instead of that tanker. At first, we thought you had a fuel delivery. That would have been cool!

Thanks for all your hard work. And as you can see, you have pltenty of guys willing to help you out for next year.
Joe

Trey,

BEST WEEKEND EVER!

I honeslty can not complain about the run over the weekend. I do agree with maybe a raptor jump section where you can go and jump your raptor and get some pictures, but really it is hard to find anything that can be improved.

You did an awesome job and I know everyone appreciates your effort and hard work to give us an awesome weekend in texas!

*side note - I was really worried with that many raptors there we were going to pull a Japan car pile up ... Eight Ferraris, Lamborghini in Japan luxury car pileup, damage could exceed $1 million - The Washington Post

*second side note - I have the video and GoPro of the assault of the camel, after I get some editing software, I will post it soon!

The adrenaline is just now wearing off.. and holy cow I am sore! I didn't realize I had a burn spot on my collar bone from the seatbelt.. I wouldn't trade it for anything this was a once in a lifetime type event! Can not wait till the next one!

I agree with you about the group picture.. needs to be Saturday morning to allow everyone to show up, before the drivers meeting before everyone scatters!
