This sucks Keith, I am sorry to hear this. There is someone I follow on another site and he is having almost the exact same issue. This unfortunately is not an isolated case. The ****** thing is......not sure why this happening. I have another friend that his 22 go into low power mode after driving down dirt road. It seems there may be a larger issue here affecting numerous trucks.

Oh I mean… I can tell you what it is most likely being a Ford service advisor for years… Fords programming compared to GM’s on the 10R80 is dog poo. My at4 had the same trans. Zero issues after 25k miles of HARD wheeling. The 1st. Year of the 10R80 I had hundreds come in. The trans is toast 100%. Just happy I finished schooling n don’t have that job anymore. I’ll get a trans n go Goosetuned. N be happy. Now it’s just a waiting game.

Great attitude. I hear ya on what you think. Just a bummer, more than a few guys are having transmission issues. Sounds like they need a programming update.

At least they will make it right and you will be hopefully good to go. A month would **** me off, but that's where we are these days waiting on parts.

22 37pp truck. Normal mode. Completely stock aside from wheels, tires and RPG 1.5” level kit.

Was driving at 30-35 mph. Normally accelerating and on shift from 3-4th gear trans didn’t grab 4th gear. Rpms shot to 7000 and wouldn’t move. Put truck in park. Shut off truck. Started truck. Put in drive. Same thing happened. No CEL no other lights. Won’t shit past 3rd gear.

5k miles. Anybody else have the issue? Truck will sit at Lithia Ford Boise for a month till they get to it.

Hate to hear this but sounds like you have a good service dept (which is most important). They appear to have you 'covered'--I'd still open a case with Ford so that everything gets eyes on it and you have a paper trail (may come in handy later). Pop that Cobra in 4WD and you'll be good to go in the Idaho storms.

I have a rattle/shake and exhaust leak in my truck (300 miles) and called around to get the truck in for work. When I called over a week ago, one quote was Feb 28 and the other dealership said Mar 15. Neither had loaners and said I would just have to figure out a rental and get reimbursed
