Transmission shift issue on first drive of the day

Im on transmission #2. I would follow guidance from FordTechOne and have the new software installed at Ford. Check your fluid and see if it is burned. (19 mm plug on Passenger side of transmission. ) if it is broken you will smell it. Then document it w Ford. I have more information if you like..

Well no luck with any of the mentioned fixes, Truck still has issues with the 5 shift on the first drive of the day. If I really creep on the throttle pulling out onto my main road it's not too noticeable, but it's a 55 zone so it's usually like 40-50% throttle pulling into traffic in which it just drops on its face on that 5 shift. It feels like a shift solenoid is hanging when the trans is cold.

Well good to know there is a TSB about it and that it includes overhauling the trans valve body. I have like 4k miles like before my 60k is up so I'll need to get this to them and have them knock it out. Thanks for linking the TSB.

I wonder if the Cobb TCM tune will fix this? YouTube videos have multiple people saying that the software update has cured it.
Avoid opening the transmission if you can.

It didn't... I have stage 2 cobb + tcm .... The first shift 3 to 4 or 2 to 4 is weird. Then find all day
