This type of thread makes me want to avoid dropping 60k+ on a truck. Glad I avoided the temptation to get the first year model. Hope Ford makes it right for you!

You are VASTLY further ahead by letting this go. These gen 2 trucks are going to be problematic without some desperately needed changes.
FWIW, I went to college with a few inside Ford and they realized they have made a huge mistake with this truck.

At this point I'm just waiting for the dealer to wire me back my money and they can fix the truck and sell it to someone else. Honestly I don't blame the dealer, but I think Ford should've stepped up and given me the extended warranty considering the truck needs such a major repair before delivery. I've started checking around again locally to see if the dealers here are still being nuts and asking $15k over for a truck.
Update Today:
Not too much to update really. My dealer has gotten me a rental as I am going out of town to Vegas this weekend and didn't want to put the road miles on the 11 Raptor. They got me an Expedition which will work well hauling 5 people out. This was my dealer that got me the rental, not Ford Corporate. In fact, my dealer was surprised to hear that I have yet to get a call from my case manager from Corporate.
No update on the part, still waiting. As I stated in another post, I'm inclined to let the situation get to over 30 days as I believe it will increase my options for demands and/or compensation. First time ever going through this, so I have no idea what to expect.
As for Sasquatch77 "likes" or repetitive comments on negativity of the G2 Raptor, all I can say is if you can tune Jake17 out you can tune anyone out. It doesn't bother me. Hopefully I'll have another update before I head out of town on Friday.
Man, it takes a special kind of ************* to delight in the misfortune of others. This is the 2nd Gen2 owner you’ve “liked” their failure post and it is really growing tiresome seeing you pop up like a game of whack-a-mole ripping on a truck you don’t even have.
Seriously, please sit down, calm down and take a nice big sip of shut the f*ck up juice.
It is seriously despicable to delight in others misfortune and you have been bringing that to new heights.
With apologies to other posters and readers.
