I'm a vendor to a large technology company in denver (well, nation-wide, but I'm based out of denver). They have a large facility with a couple thousand employees in and out of the building in any given day that is located about 5 minutes from my house in Highlands Ranch, CO. I'm pretty embedded in their infrastructure and daily business needs, so they set me up an office in the 'skunk works' section of their facility (where most of my current work is getting done for the latest/greatest technology we're working on).

Anyways...sorry to blab.

On the days I work out of that office, my Raptor makes three in the parking lot. Pretty crazy...three raptors on pretty much any given day at this facility. I don't know the other two owners, but one of the trucks is a molten orange scab. It looks like a 2010 5.4 (no emblems), but who knows. The other truck is a blue SCAB that has a 6.2 emblem, so I'm not sure what year it is. They both have been there longer than mine (and I bought mine in June of 2011).

I noticed the orange one is always super clean and then I noticed mud flaps the owner had installed. I walked over to get a look as they looked similar to some y'all have posted on here and I'm getting ******* tired of washing my truck constantly so I'm debating some.

Anyway, looky what I see he's covered his SVT wheel caps with:

A part of me dropped when I saw it. I know, I know...some here are into that sort of thing. I'm not really bashing it...but, someone let me in on the secret. What's the deal with putting transformer logos on your vehicles? I must be getting old...

I would guess he's a member of one of the forums. Vortex mud flaps with stainless hardware is a forum trick. I know little kids get a kick out of cars with the emblems on them. They can't wait for them to turn into a robot and adults can't wait for Megan Fox to get out. ?

Hmmm...I can dig the kid perspective. I have a couple, just not in that age range yet. I should leave a business card and offer to buy him a beer.

He has some lights under his grill too I'd like to inquire about.

Night.

That's entertaining. I skate at the Ice Ranch (Broadway & 470) a couple times a month - can't believe I haven't seen more Raptors around there!

Make that two, had mine for a week now and have 1100 miles already. Unfortunately most have been on the road, I can't wait to try this out off road.

I see a ton of raptors down here. I bet I know of 8-10 'regulars'. So, when are we getting together for a meetup? Platte River Bar and Grill for a burger and beer sometime?

I don't see too many in the Denver area, I did see a SCrew about a month ago in Castle Rock when I was driving my Brother's Raptor as I was pulling out of McDonald's.
