Just keep in mind Sonoma that these kits are technically not legal for use as they are super loud. We use ours just for fun and occasionally to scare the crap out of some kid texting and driving. But if you were to use it as a normal horn, you would get tickets.... You can possibly look into a custom horn kit for your raptor. I haven't seen anyone do that before.

Looky what showed up via UPS today... He he he.

Yeah, we all know they are illegal to use in normal occasions, but ya gotta admit, this'll be fun on occasion. Plus, I now have the ability to air down and then back up when I need to.

Oh yeah? Well that would be fun to add on to it.

If it's also practical for airing down then even better. Do you also use it for airing down?

Yup, I think Yukon put it in his write up, but we got the larger tank specifically for that reason and he made sure to mount the compressor in a spot in the bed where he can reach all 4 tires. Already worth the time and money for that alone.

Mount both on passenger side outside frame and tube up to my horns that are mounted on my skid plate. You can't ask for a better fit on the skid plate, leaves access for oil filter and everything.

BTW first thing to do is change the fuse holder to a better quality, you can see what happened to mine after a few days.

I can tell you my friend, if you do any "serious" offroading, your system is not going to be happy before long.

My install set-up was exactly like yours....I made it through 4 Raptor Runs....but then came Havoc in the Hills aka Boulders from Hell.

Tank Regulator got ripped off, tank has huge gash in it and the Compressor took a rock to the head at 50 MPH...it's deader than Abe Lincoln.

My advise to anyone doing this Mod, Bed Mount or like Joe did his or else, it's only a matter of time.

On a side note, I loved it and miss it. I may get a new one, but will install the tank and compressor in the bed next time.
