Same here. Went for the on board air. The train horn was an added bonus.

Nick, nice job on the mounting location of the gauge. Mine is a bit hidden when I drive. And at night, forget. Your not going to see it at all.

Damn, makes me wish I'd mounted my gauge. I just left it off and flip the switch when I think about it to top the tank off.

Hi Im not sure what the benefit is of mounting the gauge in the cab? I mounted mine next to my compressor under the truck. I didn't think I needed to see it?

This way I know when it's low without having to look down there

The way mine is set it automatically maintains a certain pressure, when it falls below that PSI the pump kicks on and tops it off?

^ that's the way mine with the pressure switch. I choose to keep mine on a upfitter switch, mainly because I don't want to go to start the truck with the compressor kicking on at the same time if low. I had similar setup on my TrailBlazer SS without a switch and always hated it every couple days i'd go to start or remote start vehicle and you can hear the compressor over the exhaust note. Just personal preference though, I left my gauge completely off.
