Traded my Gen2 for Gen3 37 package

Super stoked today!!

Had a 2017 Gen2(traded for) a 2018 Shelby F150 and then traded for a 2019 Gen2 Raptor. The 2019’has been with me 3 years and was a great truck. MPT used my truck to build their Gen2.2 program.

My Raptors were black and the Shelby was magnetic. I had a shot stint (7 months) with a Gt350R in lead foot and really missed that color. It was my midlife crisis vehicle and 2nd car when I needed some speed.

She was traded in for a white 991.1 Porsche but secretly have been looking to find a Lead Foot again or nardo grey something. The 991.1 GTS is still with me.

Started my search for a new truck and with my wife’s blessing - she said get another black one.
So I ordered one but the car got pushed back. That same dealer I cancelled my order on the Black 37 package called me and told me a Lead Foot landed at his dealership (37 package) and the buyer didn’t want it. He never returned my deposit (was hoping I would change my mind) - gave me the same deal and offered free shipping.

I jumped on it and finally glad that a lead foot is back in the family!

So happy that I didn’t get another black raptor and have already got it setup for all the new parts to be installed next week.

Awesome congrats man!!!! Btw- that nardo grey Porsche makes is what turned me on to that type of color on a vehicle, which is why my 2020 Rappy is LF!!

I think Audi makes a similar color as well….but something about it isn’t as cool looking as the nardo

Is the 37” truck noticeably sluggish compared to when your gen2 was stock or was that too long ago to make a judgment call?

The feeing of taking home a brand new vehicle that you really wanted is awesome & I wouldn’t steer anyone away from it….I know very wealthy guys who are into cars but still cheapskates & only buy used, but one of em bought a brand new (but stripped down reg cab) F250 (literally as his driveway plow truck) & now he’s like “next Mercedes’ I get will be new!!!”

I think Audi makes a similar color as well….but something about it isn’t as cool looking as the nardo

I’m fairly positive Nardo was released by Audi yrs ago. Maybe 20-25 yrs now.

The truck gets delivered to me next week. I don’t believe anything can be faster than my 2019 Raptor with MPT on there. They developed the program on my truck and it’s nutz!! In a great way but there are days it feels faster than my Porsche.

The waiting game is what’s hard in these deals…wait to order one; wait for it to built, wait for the dealer to do recalls, wait for shipping….hurry up and wait some more!

Lol- funny but this is another reason I’m in another gen2 ttV6 raptor, I’m running a 93 octane Gearhead tune, but I have a 718whp C5Z & I’ve driven lots of fast stuff, from a dig my tuned gen2 slowly walked my buddy’s X5M, and from a roll? There’s no reason a vehicle this big should pull like that @ highway speeds….I know I know TRX this TRX that…I’ve driven one, they’re heavy, I’m not convinced they’re faster than a tuned raptor
