If u are going to trade in now is the time to do it. They are giving ppl crazy high numbers for trade ins because of low used car inventory

Do not ever go into a car dealership and think you are winning the deal.

They will ALWAYS profit. And they have about 10 different ways to get there.

The only thing that may vary is exactly the amount you get screwed.

which moves me along to....

Trading an 18 for a 20.

bro do you have more money than common sense? I really have to ask because damn.

if you do, hey have at it. Or maybe you want to live in debt forever for no appreciable gain?

whatever, it's funny to me.

When the gen 3 comes out I gonna spend the first couple years doing what the gen 1 guys do... Troll gen 3 owners and pretend my gen 2 is better. Then when the 3rd model year is available with all the mid cycle upgrades, I’ll trade up.

It is the way.

It makes zero sense (unless you have F you money) to trade your 18 for a 20 when you’ll be trading that 20 for the Gen 3 whenever it comes out.

if the ingling is too much to handle, then go buy the 2020.
but if you can overcome your ingling....... wait for gen 3:)

I would hold out until you see an announcement. I'm thinking within 60 days we'll see something - enough time for the Bronco press to die down.

Being a corporate truck should make a difference in your decision. You should consult with your accountant because Tax Code 179 allows full depreciation in the first year..based on 37% tax bracket that is almost a $26k cash savings.... Each person on this forum has different financial means and needs, asking people on here what the best decision is would be like asking them to pick the color.

I also have a 2018 and I'm holding out until year 2-3 of the gen 3. That seems the sweet spot for working out kinks, upgrades and the discounting based on dealers holding inventory.
