There is a big difference in towing stability between the 2018 and 2019 Raptor. The live action shocks do an amazing job keeping the truck planted. My 2018 towed ok, but felt much more floaty and mushy. I would not hesitate to max tow with these new shocks.

I don’t have any prior experience with the 2018 but I think I got close to “maxing it out”. The boat and trailer is around 7,200lbs. I was a little nervous when I hooked it up and the back end slouched 3 inches. Towed 500 miles from Northern California to Southern Cal. over the grapevine without an issue, the power of the eco boost is awesome. The truck felt very planted. My old 2007 Tahoe struggled really bad towing this boat uphill.

Yes the EcoBoost is a beast for towing. I had a Tundra 5.7 and this EcoBoost tows way better. It has no problem at all on hills.

Good to know about the towing capability. I don't tow anything except a Waverunner with my '18, so I think I'm good.

This is my 2019 hitched up last night. I have a Blue Ox Hitch and got it dialed in from the last truck. The trailer is 24’ and surprisingly it doesn’t sag anymore than my 2014 F-150 rated at 10K plus.

The only “weird” thing is I unhooked the trailer and it took some driving to get the rear end back up to giving the truck a slight rake. It was sitting level so I was concerned about de-arching the springs.

I’m sure the track width of the Raptor is helping but this thing feels rock solid when I test drive it around hooked up.

My last tuned eco probably made more power but didn’t have 4:10’s. I think this truck feels much better bone stock.

I’ll be getting some new hydraulic bumps for the rear again. That should ease my mind.
