Torn Over Which Gen 3 to Buy.. HELP!!

Y'all, I am torn and going crazy on which Gen 3 to buy... One Used and One New.

Option 1:

2021 Agate Black 801A - $84,700
4,000 Miles
Sunroof
Carbon Fiber Interior
NO Power Tailgate
Tonneau Cover and Bed Liner

Option 2:

2022 Antimatter Blue 801A - $89,500
NEW
Moonroof and Power Tailgate Pack
Bed Liner

AMB is preferred color but not sure color and power tailgate/step are worth the 5K. Any thoughts? What is the better "deal"? (if there even is such a thing)

I don't think the tailgate/step is worth 5k but the 22 not being used with 4k miles is worth 5k to me. For someone to trade it in after 4k miles it might have the clunking issue or something that plagued lots of the 21s and some 22s.

I'd personally get the 22 between those two. It has the tailgate applique right?

I would think the new, 22' would be a no brainer with the small difference in price. That new car smell is worth a lot to me alone. The power tailgate is really a feature I like more than I'd thought. I'd pull the trigger on the 22, especially since you like AMB.

I don’t think you should buy either. I wouldn't buy a MY22 since it's a peasant stripped down version of the MY21. I also wouldn't own AMB.

If you must pick one.. go used for the better truck and try and get a better deal. If you need to go new.. keep shopping.

Get the color you want. You are paying for it. Or you can get one in primer and paint it later.
