Got it. 801A is the mid-level package. There aren’t two different 801As.
Ahhh that’s what it is- I was confused b/c dealer had another raptor listed as 801a incorrectly but had cloth interior now when I went back & looked on fords inventory website (not the dealers) it is listed as “800a base”

My biggest bitch is how Ford makes you choose from 3 trim levels. I don’t want to pay 10k for some stupid, trivial, fluff crap like push button start and Pro-Yuppie Back Up Assist, but I did want the memory seats and better sound system. I also would’ve liked to have been able to spec the carbon fiber interior package. Why do I have to pay almost 70k to be blessed with the privilege of spending $500 more for that package?

They all do it, no matter the brand or vehicle. You know, that you end up paying or you don’t and get less equipment. Sometimes you can nearly ala carte it all and get about what you want. But cost creeps up pretty well.

the carbon fiber package is actually $995....but you can get the shifter yourself for like $180 shipped lol

the lack of memory seat function on 10 way lumbar perforated heated leather 2 tone premium embroided seats w/ power adjustable pedals to go along w/ em though? Egregious, erroneous, brazen, outrageous I’m running outta superlatives lol!!....almost as if they’re trolling ya for not forking over another $10k

how much more would it have cost to have that? I’d have given up the 2 tone or perforations or “raptor” emblazoned on the headrest for ******** memory settings!!!!!!

With the height difference between me and the wife, I feel your pain completely. Preach.

My wife is 5’2” and doesn’t drive my stuff. They’re either large, like the raptor, manual trans like every car I’ve had during our togetherness or have only two wheels.

I still like the memory seats. They always get f’ed up during an interior clean/detail/deshedding

The F250 and Raptor are so different, hard to see how people cross-shop both.

It depends on what you really need. The ideal vehicle for me and what I want to do is a 3/4T SCREW with a 6' bed. But with the Raptor, I get better economy, more performance, better daily driving, and more fun for the small price of having to pay attention to how much weight I load into it when I go camping. If I weren't willing to compromise comfort and convenience for performance, I'd be there...
