You can get Tunes in many different flavors.
Meaning you can get Performance, Street, Tow and Economy, in 89, 91 and 93 octanes.
All the Tuning Vendors offer package deals with at least one to three Tunes with the SCT device or My Calibrator.
You have JDM, 5 Star and Livernois.


All I read was...Performance...Blah blah blah...LOL! :)

Sure. It won’t hurt your truck if it’s in good shape. But......

mid you think it’s going to “really wake up” your truck you will be disappointed. Here is the deal with a NA engine. You’re not going to get much out of it. If you have a CAI, exhaust, and tune. You’re not going to get a lot out of it. It’s just the way it is. You may get 10-12 hp at one point in the hp curve. So not a 10-12 hp raise in the entire curve. Just that level of increase at one point. You’re not going to “feel” that. Sorry to burst your bubble.

usually what you “feel” is some of the line pressure and shift point changes in the trans. Not saying it’s not doing something, but tuning doesn’t make the change that it does on a forced induction engine.

I like mine because of advanced notifications of potential issues.

If you want immediate responsiveness, go to a Pedal Commander (with the Bluetooth). You won't be disappointed.

I went back and forth on this decision when I was looking for a seat of pants improvement (didn’t care much about HP number since not big enough to care about). I had exhaust and CAI already so per recommendations I decided to start with pedal commander and was ready to replace it with a tune if wasn’t enough. I’ve been more than happy with the pedal commander. No plans for me to add the tune, PC did everything I wanted.
