Right - does anyone have LAT LONG or some sort of landmark of where this starts?

...mainly so I can get my Starbucks and Marriott when I get there..

I usually get on at Bates Crossing Rd and Pinewood Rd, but I'm looking at property out there.

At that very spot there are several signs -

- NO GPS BEYOND THIS POINT
- WATER CROSSINGS
- SKULL and CROSS BONES (maybe I just imagined that one) It's really not that bad. (Remind me to tell you story of when a small sedan was coming the other way)

If you've ever watched The Andy Griffith Show, you know that the Robert E. Lee Bridge is a fallen tree across a river. This isn't that bad, this one is a sandbar in the river.
