tires lock up after decel

What causes this? When I'm accelerating hard then let off before it shifts and it almost seems like it up and then downshifts and locks up the tires very quickly. Can't be healthy on the trans. How do you prevent this beside avoiding off the throttle at certain shift points?

sounds like a problem, I do that sometimes and never had that happen before

Never had that problem, but always thought the transmission was a little squirrely in some ways. Thinking it being the first 6-auto I ever drove, it was going to be a little different. Good luck with sorting it out.

are you on stock tune? if so take to dealer. if u have a tune talk to your tuner. thats a problem and just asking for trouble with the drivetrain

I have a '10 with about 40k on it and mine has done it a few times, I know exactly what your talking about. It happens very rarely so I don't really worry bout it
