Drone free
Hi guys..yeah the frequancy and sound are two different things...the drone in the cab was a vibration / frequency in essence, and was really bad but you got used to it...it was a low rumble of sorts through a banwidth of the RPM curve.
Now the "Sound" of the exhaust is awesome, and a GREAT tone and that was never the problem. It is a loud exhaust and when you are WO, it's really AWESOME! The sound advertised on SW web site is spot on, and is exactly what mine sounds like...The drone would be hard to video / record, as it was more a vibration in the pipes. Not sure if this makes sense, but I know these work, and it fixes the issue 100%.
In fact, if you look at Highe End Exhaust for say a BMW M-3, you will find these factory mounted...they are larger diameter and have a little fiberglass from what I am told inside.
Hope this helps....
