I just put Nitto Ridge Grapplers on in 37's and love these things. That said I had a 2015 Lariat with KO2 35's that were E load. I got 40k miles out of them and still probably could have gone 5k more. I did have balancing isues with them the whole time though but none on my OEM gen 2's that are C Load. So far the Nitto Ridge Grapplers seem just as quite, have the same dry performance and have zero balance isues so far. They do perform better in dirt and gravel than the KO2 from what I can tell so far.

Why not the STT Pro? Currently looking at them in 37” for another set of wheels.

Heard great things about them - actually that they are the best MT - but they are loud. ST Maxx is still plenty aggressive even in mud and is closer to KO2 in road noise. Less noisy than Duratracs, so I've gathered.

Just picked up a new set of BFG KO2's in 35x12.5-17 size. I have to say that I think the compound used on the factory Raptor tire is incredibly soft and contributes to the premature wear. I won't be able to confirm my suspicions for a while but hopefully my theory holds true. The new tires feel so good! IMO, the KO2 is the best all-terrain tire ever made.

KO2's that go off-road (OEM Load Range C or 35x12.5-17 which are E) have a pretty soft compound and they will be chewed up. I average about 20k on mine with 8-9 off-road trips a year. If you see little off-road action the tires will last 40k or more with no issues.

Yup. I lost 2/32nds in 14 miles at Rally ready.

My KO2's have 30k on them now and I think I'll get 40k before i have to change them. I consider that acceptable mileage.

Not quite apples to apples for OP, but I went from the factory KO2s to 37x13.50 Cooper STT Pros about 4k miles ago. I'm extremely satisfied with the tread wear so far. A slight uptick in road noise, but IMO I think it's to be expected regardless with the larger size I went with. Frankly, I think a 37x13.50 (not that they make that size) KO2 would be even louder. Traction has been great in all weather conditions for me. I get snow in the mountains, sand in the desert, and rain when I go back home to Dallas-Fort Worth and haven't had any issues whatsoever. I can strongly recommend this tire.

Toyo and Nitto (sister companies) are popular, but way too heavy. Cooper has gotten rave reviews from everyone I know, both in person and online, whereas the KO2 isn't much appreciated, at least here.

I am strongly considering the ST Maxx, but Cooper just updated their AT3 (which skunked the KO1 in every comparsion test.) One guy on facebook just got them and said so far they are a big improvement everywhere.

Tread pattern on the ST Maxx looks promising. Not terribly aggressive so it should be comparable to KO2s for road noise but aggressive enough to work well off road.

When my KO2's wear out. I am either going with Mickey Thompson ATZ P3's, or the new soon to be released Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires.

People are split on noise. Some say it is quieter, some say slightly noisier. However, it is a hybrid tire like the Ridge Grappler and R/T, so it will be better offroad, especially in the mud. Without question it is better offroad and in wet conditions, which is why I'm pretty settled on it.
