I ran 15 PSI at Sliver Lake last weekend. Worked just fine, even though my co-driver managed to bury it up to the axles at the top of a dune when he panicked and slammed on the brakes upon reaching the top. Then threw sand for about 5 minutes trying to create movement.

This one was only running 5 PSI.

LOL that happened to be at least 3 times. In our area we have a lot of these type of dunes:

now if you are not careful with these you can flip your car or truck easily.

I am over in Oman right now with a Gen 1 Raptor - through trial and error and talking to a lot of the local guys that go in sand often, I now go down to 10 PSI with BFGKO2.
Makes a world of difference, even 15 to 20 psi I sink in a lot more, with 10 I float.
After a couple of hours I check the pressure again as they warm up to 15 to 17 psi and I need to deflate again. Before stopping for the night we air up again.
I do not have bead locks, but havent had a problem "YET".
I put geiser springs in front an deavers in back which help a bit with clearance especially airing down that much.
One addition, I was digging in when pulling someone free the other day and aired down the rear tires to 7 psi. That got me out of it.
