They look too heavy but, I still want them to ride nice yet not get flats. Also, how are they in the rain? Will they fit with my OE control arms with 20" 0 offset wheels? What if I only occasionally jump the speed bumps at Starbucks. Will they rip my fenders off when the tires stuff? They are big speed bumps at the one near me.

The constant "please hold my hand, I am scared " is mind blowing.

Don't get me wrong I have asked for advise here. So it isn't the question. It is the frequency and what seems to be the total lack of some to help themselves. I swear some people would drown in 1 inch of water because that don't know how to stand up.

That is part of the it, the other part it is seems like conversations we all have with our wife's
Her: what do you want to eat
Me: I don't care (because honestly I don't, AND I know exactly how this is going to end)
Her: me either, you choose
Me: no really I don't care
(This goes on and on until....)
Me: fine I would like ________
Her: that doesn't sound good....

**** me, it is why people kill people
Super common problem. Try this. Give her two options you could live with. That’s you taking charge. She will then suggest something else. That’s her being in control. Now you can go where she wanted to go all along without the frustration.

Hi all,
My OEM tires are wearing thin and I would like to get new ones. I principally drive on road so would prefer a smoother riding quieter tire but one that would also perform well in snows and could still go off road occasionally
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Dr. Mike
Seriously though... most of the AT tires suggested in all the tire threads are decent. Some better than others at certain things. You need to peruse those threads and find the best set of compromises for YOU! My all time favorite off road tire for daily driving and rock crawling was the E rated Firestone Destination MT circa 2010. They were great for me then on a daily with a much shorter wheelbase and lasted over 70k with ripped off lugs from rock crawling. They would probably COMPLETELY suck for me and my Raptor these days. Loud, heavy, stiff everywhere at any pressure, and indestructible... much me in the 90's and early 2000's. :p

Hell any of these would give a 17 year old cowboy a hard-on

I can remember hitting the highway in the Taco (reg cab, short box, 4x4, 4cyl 5-speed) the first time. I had to keep it in 3rd gear to maintain 65mph. I couldn't hear anything for a good 20min afterwards, and I'm pretty sure I lost at least one filling. It was AWESOME! :happy107: gawd I miss that little truck. lol
