Tinted Tail Lights / Turn signal mirrors

As promised, here is the video I just took. Put it on 720p and be amazed. Hope you get to see what you want; but having 9 of the LED's in there makes them pretty bright and it freaks out my phone.

So, here:


Hey swoop do you have part numbers for what strip you used & did you wire urs up the same way as Ironman? One more thing did you have to shave some of the reflector for the light to go through? Im not sure if I wana make those into turn signals or just running amber lights. Hmmmmmm lol:birgits_tiredcoffee

The reflectors are solid on the back, so you have to cut a strip of the white plastic to let the light shine through.

Do you know how to make them just running amber lights?

Maybe you could steal constant power from somewhere in the door.
Do you have a voltmeter? Go though out your door and look for a constant 12v while your truck is running.

No I don't unfortunately. I was more thinking they would just turn on with the regular running lights (parking lights )

Hmmmm not exactly sure of the fuse for the running lights guess you tap into that.
This would take a bit of work.
