Hmm, CO and UT. Are you a western slope guy like me? You sound like you've been around the off-road/modding/auto scene and it'd be nice to know about anything over here as far as Line-X/window tint shops and things like that. Living out here in the boonies means I have to drive a couple hours, which I'm fine with.
I'm in the Denver area. I'm not too sure about places to go to on the Western Slope.

Impressions of the Raptor vs Hummer (which one?) Offroad? I get a huge amount of gawking from Hummer drivers (Tundras even more)
Since I just picked the truck up last Sat, I cannot give you an honest/ thorough comparison yet. About the only thing I can say is the on road ride is closest compared to my H2's I drove. About the only comparison is the width though.
The expansion joints in the road were soaked up better in the H2 than the Raptor..however I ran 35 or 37" MT's and modded my Hummers. So again, not a good comparison and I'm not quite 1 week in with the new truck. I think once I put some diffent tires/ wheels on and do the perch adj, I can get a better feel for it.
The seats in my H2's were my favorite for side bolstering and overall comfort. This Raptor is right there with it. Love these new seats!!!!!
"Off Road" is just too much of a broad term. There are sooo many types of terrain to give one answer. I've been in the offroad scene for a while here in CO/ UT. My rigs were all built and included a few HUMMERS (all models) and 2 JK's. I can tell you that each one of those vehicles are going to handle differently..just as this Raptor will.
I could report how this one wheels, and how the last H2 I had wheeled, but it wouldn;t be apples to apples. They are two completely different trucks.
