OK..so this has me stumped,since Ive owned my 2014 Raptor for a year and its only happened 2 times...but thats 2 times to many.
First time I had cruise control on,exited the off ramp,and drove 1/2 block to Gas Station...as soon as I got about 20 ft from the pumps the engine started racing,quickly put foot on brake could feel it wanting to fly forward...dropped it into Netural,put it back into drive..and pulled up fine....
I figured it was a fluke and it never happened again until yesterday...6-7 months later....Sitting in stop and go traffic on Interstate...finally have some room to do more than idle and crawl...hit the gas,not hard...going maybe 25-30....start coming up on car in front,and same thing....truck wants to continue forward when I put foot on brake....had enough room to repeat the gas station stiuation,but its a scary situation and dont want to get to the 3rd time.... :-(
Is there some type of Idle Speed Control or ?? on these....or a computer malfunction?
