Thoughts on this Sub/Amp combo?

I have always stuck to Alpine, JL, JBL, Kenwood...seems like this is the best "bang" for my buck right now.

So the sub is dual 4 ohm voice coil, would wire in parallel for a 2ohm load on the amp which will push 500w RMS at 2 ohm. Seems like short money for a rocking sub and a quality amp.

Thoughts on my choice, pricing...and can anyone help me track down a quality sealed .05-.08 cu ft under the seat box for my SuperCab?

...and who wants to see a video of me going Office Space on my factory sub? :naughty:

I put a JL stealthbox in the wifes denali and i gotta say it bumps pretty hard.
I have seen those alpines hit pretty hard and they are a high excursion sub so make sure it has enough room not to be rubbing on something.
I put a Kicker L7 10" in a buddys SCREW and it was loud as hell.
I owned a car audio store for a few years and its funny cuz the 1st thing i did was slap a system in a new ride. Now my rhino has a 1500 watt system and my trucks are stock lol
im not too impressed with the sony sstem in my SCAB when its cranked. I might end up doing something for it. My superduty is a 08 and has the audiophile system and it blows the sony away.

Yeah, its not a sub that will wake the neighbors and frighten children. Its main benefit is price and its compact, sub amp in one with a remote gain. Someone makes a sub box to fit under the drivers side rear seat that will take a 10", I think but it has to be a very shallow sub. May have been in crutchfield ?

Little pricey but sweet, you could probably mount the amp where the stock sub is - MTX ThunderForm Unloaded Enclosure Holds a single 10" sub — fits 2009-up Ford F-150 SuperCab (Black) at Crutchfield.com

Bro Im tellin ya, Infinity Baselink II. My friend has it in his Yota and it puts our sub to shame. I found one on Amazon for $200

Infinity - Car Audio

Don't get the bass link. I love infinity subs but not together like that. Had a perfect and it was very clean and loud.

I saw on the yota forums lots of people do that due to space and you can bolt it down easy but for me 2 JL W7's with a 1500W memphis..... it did the job!

The alpine will be better than the basslink... Brother has the Alpine type R's
