I actually bought the cap before my Raptor was delivered but, honestly, have not really felt the need to use it since taking delivery of the truck.

I bought the locking cap and didn't feel the need to use it either until the cheap ass fuel door broke and won't stay shut.... now it's necessary.

Would you like to sell it to me?

I would except the minute I do I'll have to drive somewhere where I will want to use it.....been down that road a few times in the past [plus I wouldn't have the joy of hearing my wife ask me "what do you keep all that stuff for"]

That's hysterical. Invent a "capless" filler system, then turn around and invent a cap for it. Brilliant!! :Grenade:

Yep.

I running the Ford locking gas plug just to keep it clean and prevent poking dirt into the tank with each fill up.

I guess if one was really worried they could put some duct tape over the opening before going off roading

One of Ford's better ideas -- Not! When I filled up the first time it took a minute then I calmed down and realized no one had stolen my gas cap.
