Actually, it can't. 1200lb is the entire payload and a lot of that has to be loaded onto the front axle. I had 560lb of gravel in mine the other day and was nose high by a half inch.

lol I know that’s technically the case w/ all vehicles, but for the most part people w/ trucks treat the max payload as what they’ll put in the bed regardless of what’s already in the cab

in the Raptors case given its design function it really needs to be considered a lot more closely

I had 2100 lbs of rocks in the bed of my 2015 GMC Sierra before, had an 1800 lb rating....on that truck I added bilstein 5100s, top setting in the front & raised the rear +1.25” w/ bigger blocks to keep the raked look.....I believe max rated payload on that truck was 1800 lbs & 2100 lbs in the bed made it level.

When I was in the army many years ago, we did this in the back of my Chevy Silverado with about 8 poncho liners and duct tape. Filled it with water and drunk soldiers then drove around base and downtown Anjung-Ri in Korea.
