Ugh. So no idea how this happened but I can see several shutters popped out of their place. Please tell me I can do this myself and not have ford dealer feed me a large bucket of excuses.

hi, yeah they should just “tab” in. they have enough flex in them that it shouldn't be bad getting them seated. is this for the front grill or the intercooler area? looks like intercooler judging by length. either way, both assemble the same way. however, if it’s the grill it will likely need removed to reinstall. they have diy videos on youtube to help you with the removal process

yes you can do it your self if you look up the addictive desert design adaptive cruise control relocation bracket installation instructions it takes you step by step on how to take the front of your truck apart to get to the shutters. not sure how that shutter popped off but I would make sure the plastic ends of the shutter are not broke off so you dont take apart your grill for no reason.

agree with checking for some type of damage first. it did appear odd to me that this piece “fell out”. they are secured in place pretty good

Also if you don’t want to do it yourself technically that should be warrantied. I can’t think of any circumstance that they could deny that. But it is Ford so you never can tell.
