* Interior fuse #10 kills FordPass if you don't like everywhere you go being databased and resold.
* Lightening the brake pressure when you stop will let avoid triggering the ASS (auto start stop).
* Engineering test mode for instrument cluster can be accessed by holding next track buttons on radio and steering wheel (Forget exact procedure, Google it) Can be used to calibrate fuel economy display to be spot-on-accurate.
* Adjusting the rear edge of the fixed pano roof panel all the way down gets rid of pano roof squeaks.
* You can buy a third key off ebay and program it using truck to have a spare. Take battery out if hiding it in the truck, will still work in cupholder.

Found this video incredibly helpful. Really enjoy the last piece about the motion sensors.

My favorite thing I discovered about my Raptor is that it dropped my insurance by almost $30/month compared to my Taco
I traded in a 2019 WRX Sti for mine and my insurance went down $400 a year....the truck costs almost twice as much....Sti owners on the whole must drive like a**holes.

Drove my truck around the neighborhood today, all residentual roads and not going more than 25 mph. So that gave me a great opportunity to confirm that my nanny chimes for seatbellts was disabled. Success!!

Yep, pretty much anything that attracts mostly young males as drivers will give you high insurance rates.

Found something new last night. Yesterday was the first time I’ve driven my truck at night, and I couldn’t figure out why the hell the cup holders wouldn’t light up. Low and behold in the settings menu there is a tab called “Ambient Lighting” which controls these lights and a few others inside the truck.

Good looking out, didn't realize mine was turned all the way down. I also have my infotainment set to nighttime mode so it's not so bright and it looks better IMO.

If your truck has been sitting for a while (for me I do it if >1 full day), you can hold the gas pedal to the floor (also pressing brake) and the truck will crank but not fire. It will automatically stop cranking about 8 seconds later-though I have the push button start, not sure if you have a conventional set up if it behaves the same. Rest the starter for a few moments, and do the same procedure. Once you see the oil gauge come up for a second or two, release the gas. Engine will fire and no phaser rattle. MIGHT also prevent it in the future, not sure about that though. But...I've had no rattle issues on mine w/that technique. And I'm not worried about wearing out the starter, remember it's supposedly robust enough to handle the auto stop/start duty (though I've disabled mine w/Forscan) so I figure it's pretty beefy. If not, not too hard to change.

Also, if you'd like all 5 gauges showing (oil pressure, water temp, fuel, trans temp and boost, set it to the 'gauge view' screen, but do NOT push OK. Whichever gauge is not in your top row (i.e. the one you'd select w/'OK') will be displayed in the center and be functional. Personally, I keep the trans temp in the top row and the boost in the center:

Mine's a '17, not sure if this will work on the 18's and 19's with their added gauge displays.

Finally, the mileage in the 'tripA' and 'tripB' meters resets to 0 at after 9999.9 miles. The clock (elapsed time) will keep recording, but it 'may' reset at 999:59, I"m not sure. I don't have that many hours on mine yet.

I just found this too. Had no idea the truck had ambient and cup holder lights. Unfortunately mine shut off every 2-4 days when the clock incorrectly auto adjust back 1 hour. Ford cannot be trusted for their software engineering

What do you expect from high school students?
I think you can turn off “sync with gps” time and it’ll stop the clock from auto adjusting back an hour...not sure why that would effect your ambient lighting though.
