Off road mode with my tune is completely different and is horrible. Not sure why it didn't adapt to the tube

How are you guys @ SVC at tuning a 12 screw @ 4200'? The trans shift points are way too low for the lost horsepower at this elevation. I am sure it runs on the richer side at this elevation so adding a bunch of fuel won't help much. Only mods I have is a Airaid CAI and I custom fabbed my own exhaust http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f160/magnaflow-x-pipe-pics-37703/
Initially the Intake definitely lost throttle response at light throttle, after fabbing the exhaust the snappiness is back, although I'm certain there is much to tweak that will help drivability / power as well as possibly fuel mileage.

Just had a follow up to a call I had with Jeff, as I'm buying the tune.

Jeff had said that the stock CAI (with a drop in filter) was better and outperform the AFE / AIR RAID. Can anyone follow up on this as I was pretty set on getting an AFE Stage 2. Just want to make sure I'm trying to get the best outcome.

Thanks!

You are correct. At a local shop, they had a good dyno comparison of the cai's and the factory with a high flow filter. I chose the green filter and it performs well.

Excuse my newb question, but what's a green filter? never heard of it, is it a brand name or just a filter that's green?

For any previous customers looking for the low end bite with our shifting pattern please send me an email. We have been working on a revision that should be what everyone in this category have been looking for. All current orders including the 15 that went out today will have this tune. still has the same DD drivability but we made some changes for those with a heavy right foot ;):drool2:
