I tried explaining this as well, i'm glad i'm not alone. I do have a revised file to load, hopefully it will cure this and be more inline with stock/5star and drop down to 1st in those cases. Should have it loaded tonight and have a review in a few days. Jeff has been a standup guy to work with, hats off for the attention to follow up

Let me know what you come up with.

Will do. I was sidelined last week due to the advance trac/hill decent faults, and sadly they popped back on today at lunch. So will be a bit longer before ill be able to reload the tune, you may need to be our guinea pig ;) email Jeff

Ran mine harder tonight because I had the chance on some back roads so I ran it like I do in dirt. Love the way the tune handles shifts even more when hammered down. Silky smooth and stays in gears long enough to approach how I drive it in manual mode. Has been very smooth and seems to be in the gear I want around town too. Very impressed with this tune.

Thanks for the feedback Mark!

Here is an email I just received from another guy who jumped on board with this tune

"Jeff,

Good evening, as promised here are some pictures. As for the tune, it is the absolute best thing I have bought for my truck from you guys! I have nothing but good to say about it. The shift points are good and smooth transitions!! The fact that I'm now able to hit over 100 mph is also a better feeling. I highly recommend this tune to all of your current and future customers. If people aren't going with this tune they really aren't making good choices. I will be back to buy more products from y'all. The next product I'm looking at is the intake. Thanks for everything Jeff!!! I will make sure to send in pictures every so often.

-Aaron"

Nothing better then hearing from a satisfied customer !

Read some of the comments above on short shifting to 2nd going out in traffic. The tune works exactly how I want it in every other situation so don't want to fool with it. For the pulling into traffic scenario I just put it in manual mode, hold first gear and feather the throttle until up to speed. If it's wet I'll lock the rear and go. No worries.

Ordered a CAI and the tune/x4 package last night, I've driven a SC raptor but never one with just a CAI, tune and exhaust so i'm looking forward to see what happens.

How did you test it with the off road mode? Do the parameters stay the same as the Ford engineers wanted to get out of the off road mode? If my question makes sense?

Parameters stay the same off-rad mode requires more throttle input and limits 6th gear. Only other thing it changes is airbag deployment and limits tc
