I spent some time over the weekend installing some Cheap Mods for my truck.

So far I have done
1. Golf Ball as a fuel cap Mod
2. Heat Shielding the Air Raid CAI
3. Installed front mud flaps
4. Cleaning and sealing the battery terminals (must be the humidity down here in south Texas)

I am just pending the rubber latex tubing for the door seal mod and the Rubbermaid container in bed of truck mod.

waste of time. the door shuts pretty tight, and with the gasket seal, there's not really any dirt getting in there. If anything the golf ball in there is more likely to bounce around and push the door open than anything.

Here's one I just did yesterday that cost me a total of $25 shipped from Ebay. The guy I ordered from will do it in any combination of the Raptor colors, so I went with the tux black and molten orange.

Nice look. Is that just a decal? So it can be removed fairly easily if I want?

Yeah it's just a decal and it sticks pretty good, but you could definitely get it off of there if you want. It has a few more bubbles than I'd like, but that's my fault. I'll probably have a vinyl shop put one on professionally later, but this is a good proof of concept for me in the meantime.

The same guy also does color matched vinyl stickers for the mirror reflectors for $10 I think

I did the same thing and it looks good . Don't know about you but the paint is holding up on mine like new .

Yup, mine still look fresh and new. That paint seems to be very tough if you've done the curing process.

So I got tired of my iPod cables breaking (shown in first picture) and with the whole country in a 550 cord frenzy, I decided to try this out. I know its not a truck mod but since my iPod is in my truck more than anywhere, it kinda falls in this category. Its adds a nice little custom touch with functionality. Total cost: $25 (and thats using the Apple brand cable)
