So I got tired of my iPod cables breaking (shown in first picture) and with the whole country in a 550 cord frenzy, I decided to try this out. I know its not a truck mod but since my iPod is in my truck more than anywhere, it kinda falls in this category. Its adds a nice little custom touch with functionality. Total cost: $25 (and thats using the Apple brand cable)

Please forgive my ignorance, I don't understand what you did here. Can you splain alittle please?

You know the 550 cord bracelets everyone is making? Well I did the same thing around the iPod cord to stiffen it up a little so it won't break like the one in the first picture.

Thats actually pretty smart, especially for off-roading. Should help to keep the fins from getting bent. Nice product.
