The Raptor has landed.

Well the day finally came after 7 months and 3 days of waiting. I picked up my silver scab today. And yes it is as awesome as everyone says it is. The ride is fantastic (better than my 2009 FX4) and the performance puts a grin on your face.

For those of you still waiting you won't be disappointed !

I attached a couple of photos from today, scheduled for window tint tomorrow.

This forum was a great resource during my long wait and learning how to get updates from SVT and CSX was great info I learned from this forum.

Thanks guys for the positive comments. Posted a couple more pictures with the windows tinted now. In fact the owner of the window tint place took some pictures and said he was going to put it on his website. These are great trucks. I am very happy with the silver as well. (although I must say I think all the colors on the Raptor look awesome)

svt83 I'm not exactly sure the percentage tint he put on. I had the window across the back done in one shade less than the limo tint. The back side windows they added just a light shade (since they are already tinted pretty dark) for more uv/heat reduction and the front are are just slightly lighter than the rear side window. That probably doesn't help much but that's how I did my last FX4 and it worked great for me. Looks good, decent privacy and can still see fairly well at night.

Holy shit. 7 months, 3 days. You win. Sorry. I felt bad for 'ya after mine came in on 2-22-12 after 174 days of wait (got her on day 175-I ordered 9-2-11 also).
Did anyone ever mention why the long ass wait?
