Love my Wouxun handheld. RadioDitty has some great prices on them when they have a sale going. The whip does help with range, but if you plan to use it outside of the vehicle alot on your hip then it can be a PIA over the stubby.

The clip mic is great and is built well. Overall the Wouxun radio quality has been great.
