Went out hiking to check on some property I'm buying and had to get a shot of my gen1... The "road" to the top was not plowed and had a couple feet drifting in spots. Handled it great, of course. 126,*** miles now and running strong.

I drove over a snow pile while leaving Petsmart with 4 new guppies last night.

Must be nice to live where there is snow, but without the giant salt clouds/spray on every road. Mine doesn't leave the garage until the salt is gone.

The radiator fan bracket, lower radiator hose, are completed. For some reason, the oem horn has disappeared. Still haven't resolved the issue where at full droop the BMS UCA's strike the Gen 2 coil springs. I'm also thinking that the battery really needs to be moved to the bed; in a dual battery setup with the marine battery disconnect located in the cab.

for your battery isolator. i use this in my truck. automatically disconnects when truck is off. connects when truck is on. simple and basic and works well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001HBYXVS/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

We've always used this style, (from Kartek)Screenshot_20250217-140233_Chrome.jpg, whether on one of my prerunners or a full on race truck where they are mandated. It's a big switch, so if you're keeping the center junk box you can actually mount it within it, on the floor.

it was just a suggestion. we use them in car audio a lot when we add a second battery. its nice to not have to remember to connect or disconnect each time.
