The One and Only 2013 Order status thread

I actually did a little research after my post and found out that all I needed to do was call Ford SVT with my VIN, and they gave me the following details.

Build date: 12/10/2012
Received by Transit: 12/14/12

The SVT Rep I spoke with told me that I could bank on 3-6 weeks for delivery from the build date, so I'm looking at an arrival date between 12/31 - 1/21/13.

With that being said........as far as I know I am scheduled for 12/20 as well.

same as birds sent to plant for build.latest it will be completed is 20th also.

I was scheduled for 12/17, and do NOT have a window sticker. Blood says my truck was being built yesterday, but there was a server problem and builds/stickers/schedules were all whacked out.

Hopefully everything gets sorted out today and all is well in the world of my Raptor being hatched.......

same rwjr it will be completed by 20th. all that is shown for this weeks builds.

Well, my truck finally made it to my home state. It should be at the rail yard about now to be unloaded. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for it to be off loaded, picked up by the dealer, prepped, and ready for delivery. I am hoping be the end of next week!!!!

You've got more patience than I do Speedy. I ordered my Raptor one month ago, and should receive it in another 2 -6 weeks. I'm already antsy...I couldn't imagine waiting 6.25 months!

I would have not been as patient if it weren't for Blood giving me the info that he was kind enough to share. Again and again and again!!!!

Over all, I am extremely disappointed. Buying a new truck (or in this case, a toy) is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience. This has been a big ol' pain in the ass.

I could have just kept my Z71, and bought a BMW. Or a new Camaro. Or a CTS-V. But - I chose the Raptor as my new ride. Now I fully understand that it is kind of 'luck of the draw' when it comes to getting one in a timely fashion, however, I have only heard of a handful of people waiting this long. The wait time of this truck has gone way past the point of ridiculousness.

So yeah, I'm pretty ticked about this whole deal. I am hopeful that the truck meets my expectations (which are extremely high at this point).

After almost 3 years of drooling and wishing, I was finally able to order my Raptor on November 15th! I recevied an email from my Dealer one week later with my VIN, and deliver date of 12/31. I can't wait for it to get here!!! Is there any way to check build status once you have the VIN?
