The inspiration for the Ford Raptor. Where it all began.

My brother Buck and I have been involved with off-road racing since the 70s.
While we were involved with the Ford Roughriders we would be asked to let the Ford racing guys and Ford engineers ride along chasing and pitting for the race vehicles.
Buck built a sleeper, street legal chase truck he would cart these Ford guys around in at the races. Jamal the head of Ford engineering and Cliff the Ford racing guy say Bucks F150 inspired the building of the Raptor. Zoom in on the truck photo and look at Cliffs comment. Also Cliffs e-mail to me mentioning Wouldn’t be a Raptor without Buck. And Jamal telling how Buck scared the crap out of the Ford film crew.
