Every time I hear someone quote some magazine or auto award I think of this guy.

Nice. Plus don't forget that virtually every car and truck that exists has at one time been the "Motor Trend ***-of-the-year", and they give out a dozen of those every year too.

No shit. Going from a Ford to a Dodge/Ram/FIAT/whatever the **** it is for build quality is just cray cray

I went from Ford to BMW to FCA (Wrangler) and back to Ford. My Jeep had zero issues, but I sold it at the 30-month mark with only 26k miles. Compared to the Bimmer, both Ford and FCA use very cheap plastic, talking only look and feel, same with the leather although I think the 2018 Raptor has nicer leather than my 2010 Platinum did.

I think all makes have bad vehicles leave their doors, so the discussion is all about the percentages. That said, Fiat has been among the worst in the world historically, and they purchased Chrysler (?!?) who has the worst history for a US maker. Sounds like the two are made for each other. But without Jeep and Ram FCA would barely exist.

And you said:

planned to trade for a '19 Raptor
took a Rebel 12 for a ride...impressed
deal was way too sweet to turn down...time for a change
I'll never own another ecoboost but will consider a G3 V8 Raptor

...typical F150 quality issues...ecoturd start up rattle...sloppy shifts...crappy brakes...dash rattle...hvac blend door squeal on start up...leaf springs just suck...musty AC...underbody corrosion...frozen door latches

Brother in law just got a 2019 Rebel. The air suspension is nice, but the Raptor still rode better. The Raptor cabin is also more quiet. Lots of road noise with the Rebel, but the V8 Hemi sounds great. To each his own.

In this thread NO ONE is allowed to have a personal preference that's different in any way from Rebel lovers.
