As much as I love the new interior and some of the new tech, I would never give up the 6.2 for this little termite of an engine. Especially not in this heat. I can't wait till people in Dubai realize that the twin turbocharged 3.5 was a big no-no for off-roading out here, and the price of my truck climbs like in the US. It'll be akin to when the old Patrols were temporarily discontinued as the new Patrols came out, and their prices went through the roof!!!



Not that I'm planning on selling my Raptor, but just saying. Maybe then Ford may think of giving us folks in Dubai a V8 option in our Raptors (even if you guys don't get it)!

FYI this was in July of 2016

Only time will tell regarding how these trucks will cope

If, and that's a big if, eventually a V8 comes out the natural reaction would be to get a Raptor with the new V8

The same will be if another version of the V6 ecoboost is released
