Mods won't do shit for you all. This is FRF(Sparta) have you ever noticed nothing you post is blocked with little stars because we can say **** as much as we want. This is a place where we all say what we want and if your little ****** gets too hot, you need to move on. That or grow thicker skin. We have a community here that you all don't understand because you cannot get past your Gen 2 hype. We helped purchase a seizure prediction dog for a little girl who has seizures. We donate constantly to our Armed Forces and other charities as well provide care packages to deployed soldiers, etc. Most of us would give each other the shirt of our backs if the situation warranted it.

Gen 2 is going to be great but don't come to a 1st gen Raptor forum that is not meant for the second gen Raptor and expect shit to change for you. This is a sub forum for current owners/members to discuss what they like/dislike about the new offering. There are forums dedicated to the new one but no one is on them because you can't even buy the truck for another 8 months. Go sit on those forums and get hyped with the other 8 people and you won't see this shit. Most of us are sarcastic rude ************* and we all get along just fine because we know that. If you all took a chance to get to know us and learn instead of defend a truck that doesn't exist yet un-necessarily because a couple guys want a V8 in it then you have issues you should deal with.

Chevy was like 11.3 and the 3 year old Raptor was 9.4 IIRC. Not too shabby for a truck that was 3 years old and wasn't designed to be a towing beast. Just proves Chevy doesn't know what they're doing. The Taco did better than the Tundra also by 1 MPG or so.

exactly plus their raptor has a winch; old all terrain tires (not street tires) which is why they should put the 6.2 in the new one

You are right, looking at your previous posts, you're paining to be assaulted in the opposite orifice.
Now, **** Off Kid, you're bothering me...

This guy is making all the Gen2 talk about him. He trolls with outlandish ******** and it doesn't matter if its just Ford talking points hoping to start a fight. Then he cries about how he is getting attention and how everyone is so mean.

http://www.fordraptorforum.com/profile.php?do=ignorelist

Add him here that way there can be Gen2 conversations without his ********.

Got to page 8... what a waste of time. I like my Gen I and will keep it because I keep everything. I'm old school... less new technology the better. I like normally aspirated, big displacement, roll up windows, manual hubs, and manual transmissions. If I could get all of that in a Raptor It might seem like a step backwards for some, but the greatest truck ever to me. That being said, the Gen II is going to be a sick truck. It will smoke the Gen I and if you don't see that you are in denial. In less than a year the aftermarket tunes and suspension products will make the new trucks run circles around the old Raptors, on or off road. I also have a feeling the exhaust note is going to be a little more masculine than some of you think. Like I said, I'm keeping my Gen I, but reality is what it is.

I'm quite a bit more calm about it though.

The locals are very calm about the new truck. It's the newcomers and their obsession with ***** and butts and circlejerks and jeeps and dodges and irrelevant boss 302 analogies stirring things up.

The new Gen II has more power in both hp AND torque so saying that it's not a real motor when it has more power than the truck you currently have is a little misguided.

You mean in Forza, right? Specs aren't final on the real truck.

Anyway, my truck is currently getting a bit of a makeover. Should be good for close to 750 horsepower (just shy of 600 at the wheels) when it's done. I know, I know. Ecoboosts are good for 750 horsepower (and 800 at the wheels, because technology) with just a tune.

But they also catch fire almost as often as Hennessey trucks. And with no warranty and an aluminum DOHC TT that will probably cost $20k to replace, I personally wouldn't want to be the first guy to play around with one.

The crutch to lean on is always mods, isn't it? More hp AND torque, 500 lbs lighter. Better power:weight, military grade, and now Baja mode <<<HUGE..!. When are you going to accept this reality?

"Coming around"? Nope. Have been "on board" with an aluminum bodied Raptor since before you knew the Raptor even existed (back when you were falling for the marketing hype of the recycled "B302" name).

Well that was only a year ago when they first announced that they were going to make a Raptor in the all new military grade aluminum bodied F-150.

I first read about the next Gen F150 being aluminum in February of 2013. That's 3 years ago, bro.

You're really not a very good troll. There's nothing here to even respond to. It's like you've given up, but you're still posting.

Do you just want the last word or something?

Tune that turbocharged v6 to keep up with a supercharged v8 and we'll see how long before you blow that engine up. I also read that the current ecoboost engines have major carbon build up issues around 100k. I have plenty of experience with turbocharged engines and I can say their longevity plays a big factor. Tuning them just makes it worse.

Wow. Your stupidity truly knows no bounds. The Raptor is an F150.

I'm starting to feel sorry for you.

Doesn't say one word about an aluminum Raptor does it?

I'll leave this here for you. Time for you to get an education if you expect to follow along:
