That's not a fact.

I have been offered $500 more than what I paid for my truck (2.5 years, 10k miles, and even a minor fender bender that I never bothered to get fixed later). So it is currently not depreciating.

That's a fact.

Got any more "facts"?

By the way, what's your ugly ************* "B302" worth? lol

Its well known that when a new generation replaces an old generation, that the old generation goes down in value. Smart money would get out now, just sayin'.

My B302 is not worth as much as my GT350 because it's the older generation. But I still love it so I'm keeping it. Keep your old truck if you like it. It just won't be worth as much, especially when the military grade Gen II is available.

But you didn't know if they were going to make one in the new aluminum at that time did you? Your argument is weak, it's weak. Do not take that sauce to the county fair....:troll3:

We knew the Raptor was going to be continued. Ford told us that, because it was such a big seller, it was definitely going to be continued. But since I heard rumors they were going to put the 3.5EB in it, I went ahead and got mine in June of 2013. This way I made sure I didn't miss the chance to own a real Raptor.

Good news is no one else has, either. As you know, and as is the source of your deep, deep, butthurt, you can still get one like mine, you just have to pay more for it used than it sold new.

Just think, if you had bought one instead of your gay B302, you could have made money instead of taking a bath. lol

Hey man, you got a daughter by any chance? Maybe there's some upside here. When she gets her license you can just give her that *************. You'll look like a hero when in reality all you're doing is ridding yourself of a bad mistake. It's a win win.

The last thing I would do is buy an old Gen I Raptor now. We're not even a year away from the new Gen II that will eclipse it. The wait will definitely be worth it. My advice to anyone is to wait. Jamal already said it's going to 'blow away' the old V8. Those words from Jamal equals depreciation for Gen I owners. If I were you guys I'd honestly be a little pissed as he kind of threw your trucks under the bus so to speak.

My Boss is awesome. I'm keeping it...:party36:

The guy who is so stupid he doesn't know that the Raptor is an F150 wants to lecture me on "smart money". That's cute.

My Raptor will likely depreciate some (from its currently appreciated value) in the next year. But it's definitely going to depreciate less than almost anything else on the road. Both your old "b302" and your new GT350 will depreciate more than my Raptor. So trading out of it and into something else only to get hit with higher levels of depreciation would be DUMB. Like you.

That said, the resale value means nothing to me. It's only guys like you who can't afford to get into a Raptor right now because they are too burdened with other car payments who get butthurt about the current resale values.

Like I said earlier, you're argument is weak. And can I just tell you that you're really reaching now. Nobody will want a clapped out old Raptor when a new and BETTER one is available.

Yes, we know, you can't afford it right now. Too many other car payments and too much butthurt because the Raptor actually appreciated while your "b302" tanked.

As soon as the order banks open I'll post my order, then I'll post when I take delivery. That will be the day when you realize you've waited too long to sell your old Gen I. Honestly, the time is now. You'll regret it if you don't pay heed to my words.

Bro, I know your IQ is like 100, so I'll try this again. Now may be the high water mark for Gen I Raptor values. But Gen I Raptors, being as desired as they are, will still depreciate less than almost anything else on the road. So, unless I wanted to go a year without a truck, now is not the time to sell. Why? Simple. Since I have to drive something, selling my Raptor now to get into something that will depreciate faster, (like a mustang or a dodge truck) would actually cost me a lot more money.

And that's if I even cared about what it costs to drive a truck like mine for the next year, which I really don't.

I wish I could find a way to dumb this down more for you, but I just can't. I'm afraid we just don't speak the same language. People who drive Dodges... they are just different. Generations of inbreeding will do that.

Thanks for the advice but I'm satisfied with the truck I have. I'll put the money I save into it rather than buy the new one. Personally I think the 17 is fugly. Now the interior.... I'm quite jealous of that part. Don't let these guys beat you up over your boss.... I still love that car and it was awesome when it came out. But as for the truck... No regrets on keeping mine and besides, my old lady wouldn't let me trade in if I wanted to lol.

The desire is gradually fleeting and your denial, I'll give it to ya, is very strong.
