I'm posting in the '17 board about all the great improvements the new Gen II has over the Gen I. How am I a troll? Now if I were posting in one of the old Gen I boards you may have a point.

Speculation at best. I'm sure it'll be a great package once it's available. They've already quoted some great features. I wouldn't right if off as the Gen II is going to be better.

You guys use the trucks Ford made. Unless you work for Ford you guys have nothing to do with the development of the Raptor, and certainly not the new one as everyone who's trolling this board seems to hate it. You know about the old Raptor. I'm interested in the all new Gen I Raptor with the more powerful Ecoboost engine. And this is the '17 board which is the best place to talk about it. It's not my fault you don't care for it.

Yes I meant "write" it off. Thank you for the correction.

I have no doubt that Ford had issues with the 6.2 when they were testing it as well.

You don't know what you're talking about. Period.

Guys on this forum START with the trucks Ford made, push them to and beyond their limits, then repair and improve accordingly. This has been going on for many years. Travel figures have been DOUBLED.

I take credit for none of this. I'm no longer willing to pay for R&D. I've been watching/waiting/sitting on the sidelines waiting for these hard learned lessons until very recently when I started my build.

Anyway, even though I take zero credit for them, I feel comfortable saying: "you're welcome" for the numerous improvements that the Gen II Raptor has that are a direct result of lessons learned on this forum. And that "you're welcome" is contingent on you even buying one, which is highly suspect. After all, if you were really interested in and could afford such a truck, you would have one already. It has been the preeminent off road truck for 5 years running.

By the way, you are an ass hole. lol

Did I mention lol? lol

Attacking me is a good way to deny reality.

If lessons learned on this forum have been implemented on the new one, and you guys deny that it's better and don't like the new truck, then what's the point?

I'll post pics of my order for you, and then I'll post a pic of my new truck for you so you don't lose sleep over this.

So do you call everyone an ******* that forces you not to deny reality? So much butthurt on this forum. Never seen anything like it.

"If"? Bro, if you knew anything about Raptors and this forum's relationship with Ford you'd know there's no "if". But hey, ignorance is your thing, so by all means continue to run with it.

I think you need to research the term "mutually exclusive". Then go back and read all the posts, mine, yours, and others, and see who is the ass hole. I've stated on many occasions that I think the new truck is a home run but that I can't get excited about it with a V6.

You've stated what? That people like me are "delusional", or worse?

You are an even bigger ass hole than zanemasterx.

Plus you have bad taste in trucks.

Well that's something. You're coming around. Once you drive it I think you'll find that it's a total dinger...:pepper:

Attacking you? Why would I attack you? It would imply that there was something of worth.
I'm not attacking you. I'm simply stating facts .

Your 'facts' belong in the proper forum. I suggest you find it and stop trolling this one. This forum is about the all new '17 Raptor, not discussions about your experience with the older Gen I and contempt for the new one. So much butthurt. What's up with that?

"Coming around"? Nope. Have been "on board" with an aluminum bodied Raptor since before you knew the Raptor even existed (back when you were falling for the marketing hype of the recycled "B302" name).

Will definitely wait until they put a real motor in it. Until then, I have a real truck.

Hey, how's your dodge treating you?

You did say you have a dodge truck, right? You are a dodge truck buyer, aren't you? lol

Well that was only a year ago when they first announced that they were going to make a Raptor in the all new military grade aluminum bodied F-150. So it really wasn't that long ago. However I knew about the B302 project well before that. I wouldn't discount the B302. It's a great car and even though the new GT350 is better, I still like the B302. Kind of parallels the opinions many of you have voiced between the Gen I and Gen II really. I'm quite a bit more calm about it though.

The new Gen II has more power in both hp AND torque so saying that it's not a real motor when it has more power than the truck you currently have is a little misguided.

My Dodge has been great. I've had one solitary problem with it and it was a broken exhaust stud. They took care of it under warranty. It's getting old too which is why I'm looking at an all new Gen II Raptor with military grade aluminum body.

I cant believe I was so bored I read this entire thread and as a result I think my IQ may have dropped drastically. I'll save my opinion for a true test when the truck actually comes out. Jesus Christ people stop feeding the troll! You may say you're not a troll but if you read the entire thread as I just did..... holy shit you are the biggest troll I've seen on this forum in a long time. So you like the Gen2. Good for you but stop stating how its going to blow the doors off the Gen1 when it hasn't even been out to compare. All you have is numbers on a piece of paper to stand on. The Gen2 may very well destroy the Gen1 but nobody knows that yet. Also your statement of Gen2 always being better is laughable. There are plenty of Gen2s out there that were flat out terrible.
