I fully agree, the blue glacier ice and water are unreal, but c'mon. There is a filter being used. The rocks behind the ice are freaking purple lol
No filter, I adjust lighting to make them sharper. I only have the basic photo editing that came with my 10yesr old HP.
Light Shop and all the real editing programs are $$$$ and I hate editing, takes so much FNING Time
I love to be on the trail foot/4x4 taking thousands of pictures but Hate editing!
I probably have 5k pictures from around the country that I’ve never gone back and edited
The rock was purple but not that purple because my cheap azzz editing program won’t let me adjust specific areas of a shot like the expensive programs do. The result, when I adjust the highlighting shadows, contrast etc. It F<>kS with the Entire shot.
The key to a good shot is breath control snd trigger squeeze….oh wait, wrong thread
the key to capturing a great shot is LIGHTING. That’s why you have the Golden Showers…errrr Golden Hours. Sunrise and Sunset. I don’t know how to use most functions on my Camera, but a Professional in Yosemite taught me how to use a few things on it (NO AUTO SHOOTING) so that I would stop overexposing everything. These were mid-day shots so the lighting S-u-CKed.
So no they are not perfect but the best I can do with camera/editing program and the time I’m willing to commit.
My joy is getting out and taking the shots not editing. I’ve sold a few pictures but it’s just to much time and effort in this day and age of cellphone selfie’s.
Ideally I would take the shots and give them to someone else to edit and sell.
I’ve blown several of these up and given them as gifts, but there probably in the trash or garage by now.
Mostly just memories for me.
WE TAKE PHOTOS TO CAPTURE MOMENTS SO WE CAN RETURN LATER IN TIME
