Not crazy about the hood graphics. I do wish I had the productivity screen, though. That is very cool.

I wonder what they changed to get the 8000lb tow rating?

I assume they beefed up the rear springs to increase the GVWR and the towing capacity. It should have increased the hauling capacity (I didn't look for that yet).

The haul capacity goes from 930 to 1030 lbs. Also, they mention the 36 gallon fuel tank, which is optional / standard (can't remember which) on all Ford SuperCrews.

Make sure ya read the bullet list I put together as well as the complete release from Ford. Lots of good info in there :)

First question JoyJoy asked after seeing these pics? "So is that what mine is going to look like?"

A few answers...

36 gallon tank is standard on F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew.

The new hood graphic design was inspired by the graphics we showed last year at SEMA on the Raptor XT concept

Integrated spotter mirror is only on the driver side mirror. It's a new feature that's on many new Ford cars and trucks - you can check them out at your Ford Dealer. It provides additional visibility and it's more seemlessly integrated into the mirror vs. the stick on aftermarket spotter mirrors.
