I’m willing to bet there will be a bump of some sort, probably won’t be much but just for the sake of saying it has “more power” they will add something.... this must have been a slipped up release because this truck will be a 2022 anyways

We know the compression ratio is different.
2021 is 10.5:1
2020 is 10.0:1

i think the power moved in rpms only due to the higher compression.

I don’t have an issue with not having a power bump. IMO they made the suspension catch up to the power and if you are getting a Raptor for it’s intended use I would think you would understand that. Who has been off road in their stock Raptor ripping through the dirt and light jumps and thought.... “ I wish I had more power to match this suspension “?? Show of hands....

I'm fine with the current horsepower. According to this old article back in 2017, the Gen 2's 450 horsepower was Jaw Dropping.

The standard 3.5 got a nice boost from 2020 to 2021. Nothing for the HO.

I don't think anyone is complaining that it's truly underpowered. But in this world, it's evolve or die (ironic for dinosaur theme).

In that sense, the changes for the Gen 3 - mild power band adjustment and the artificial "trombone" exhaust - almost seem patronizing to a Raptor fan.
